Love to sing? Like it even more when you’re in a group? This is the class for you! Students will learn the fundamentals of posture, breath management, vocal usage, ensemble skills, and dramatic expression in this exciting new class. Using favorites from the musical theatre, pop, and folk repertoire, we’ll also cover how to choose songs that work for your voice, how to learn a new piece of music, and performance preparation. Team building, movement games, and listening games will also be part of this fun and upbeat session, with a possible showcase at the end for friends and family.

Always want to sing, but a little scared? This is the class for you! Adult beginners or those returning to singing students will learn vocal warm up exercises, breath management, and ideas for vocal usage. Suddenly, singing will seem less intimidating and a whole lot more fun! We’ll use pieces from the folk and classical repertoire to demonstrate healthy singing and speaking, how to choose songs for your own voice, and techniques for learning new music! * This ensemble does NOT require an audition.
