Card to Culture
​NSM is proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council's Card to Culture program, making cultural programming accessible to those for whom cost is a participation barrier. EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders receive a free annual membership and a 50% discount on weekly group classes for children and adults (September – June). Please contact our office to register. Van Slyck Scholarship Fund
​Through the generosity of our donors, need-based financial assistance is available through the Nicholas Van Slyck Scholarship Fund. NSM offers need-based funding for private lessons, group classes, or ensembles for children and adults.
Applications for 2024-2025 are now being accepted. Scholarship awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the year and are awarded to cover a percentage of tuition on a sliding basis, determined by income, family size, and individual circumstances. All applications must include complete copies of the most recent year's tax return filings and additional income verification as applicable.

Scholarships typically range from 10%–50% based on financial need; full tuition scholarships are not available. 2024-2025 scholarship awards are valid through August 2025.

Scholarship recipients will be notified by email. Please wait to register until after you are notified of the outcome of your scholarship application. NSM cannot issue refunds for registrations and payment made before notification of an award.

NSM reserves the right to terminate a scholarship for delinquent tuition payments or absenteeism.

Payment Plans
Payment for private lessons may be spread out over the course of the term with 4 monthly payments. This option is readily available at check out by selecting the “installments” option on our registration website. If you have received a scholarship award and you would like to arrange for a payment plan, please contact the office. Our registrar will create a customized payment plan for you.
