Spend the vacation week immersed in a musical theater program for young singer-actors! Kids’ Cabaret offers children the opportunity to unleash their creativity and showcase their talents.
Students will learn the fundamentals of staging, script writing, dancing, acting, and singing, all while developing their teamwork and collaboration skills. Songs from musical theatre and pop repertoire help participants hone their ear training, musical literacy, and vocal production skills, all with improvisation games and movement activities. MusicQuest: Intro to Instruments (Ages 5 – 9)
Session I: Monday, July 28 – Friday, August 1, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Session II: Monday, August 4 – Friday, August 8, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Session III: Monday, August 11 – Friday, August 15, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Before-care (8:30 – 9:00 am) & after-care (3:00 – 5:30 pm) available

In this engaging introduction to multiple instruments, students will enjoy five full days of music making, including group classes in violin, keyboard, ukulele, and singing. Each activity celebrates creativity, develops the unique strengths of each student, and lays a foundation for future instrumental skills, all in a positive and fun atmosphere.
The daily schedule also includes drama and storytelling, outdoor play, and musical games, providing students with a well-rounded and enriching learning environment. No prior instrumental experience is necessary for this program; we will provide the instruments needed for each class. All your child needs is to bring their enthusiasm, curiosity, and love of music! Every week is different, and you’re welcome to register your child for one or more sessions.

Kids’ Cabaret — a three-week summer program for young singer-actors ages 7-12 — offers children the unique opportunity to write & perform their own musical theatre production.
Students are guided by experienced instructors as they learn the fundamentals of staging, script writing, dancing, acting, and singing, all while developing teamwork and collaboration skills. Musical theatre and pop songs help participants hone their ear training, musical literacy, and vocal production skills, aided by improvisation games and movement activities. The session culminates in a performance of the original musical for family and friends.
